Since Saturday, November 7, 2026, every Halfsies daily has a theme set by the day of the week (Saloon Sunday, Mane Monday, Trigger Tuesday, Wild Wednesday, Threads Thursday, Gold Rush Friday and Haturday), and Thanksgiving and Christmas get their own holiday sets.
Seven days, seven kinds of objects on the block. Here is what to expect each morning.
Halfsies gives you three hand-drawn objects a day to cut exactly in half by eye, and a scale weighs the two halves. Starting today, Saturday, November 7, 2026, each day also has a theme. The first one is Haturday.
The theme decides which kinds of objects the day draws from. Its name and one-line description show on your results, and it rides along in the text you share, like "Halfsies #130 ยท Haturday". The results screen also tells you tomorrow's theme. Your score works the same as always. This guide walks through the whole week and the two holidays coming up.
Each theme has a one-line description in the game. Here they are in order, with the kinds of objects each one pulls from.
| Day | Theme | In-game line | Objects it leans on |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sunday | Saloon Sunday | Grub, drink and cards on the bar. | Food, drinks, playing cards, instruments |
| Monday | Mane Monday | Horses and ranch work. Easy does it. | Horses, livestock, ranch tools, rope |
| Tuesday | Trigger Tuesday | Iron on the table. Shoot straight. | Guns, holsters, ammo, bows |
| Wednesday | Wild Wednesday | Critters that will not hold still. | Animals other than horses |
| Thursday | Threads Thursday | Bandanas, ties and fine threads. | Neckwear, buckles, spurs, boots, clothing |
| Friday | Gold Rush Friday | Gold, gems and cash money. | Gold, gems, money |
| Saturday | Haturday | Hats on the block. | Hats |
A theme shapes the pool. It does not lock all three slots. Haturday #130, the very first themed day, put a quiver on the block next to its hats. Expect the theme to set the mood for a day, not to fill a strict checklist.
Halfsies runs on one clock for everyone. The new daily, and the new theme, arrive at midnight UTC. In winter that is 7 p.m. the evening before in New York and 4 p.m. in Los Angeles. If you play late in the evening in the Americas, you may already be on tomorrow's theme.
Days before November 7 keep the old mixed lineup. If you open an earlier day from the Archive, it will not carry a theme.
Two holidays replace the weekday theme this year:
Those are the only two holidays on the current calendar. We will not promise others until they exist in the game.
Themes change what you cut, and what you cut changes where the middle hides. A few patterns worth knowing:
The cut modes change daily too, so the same theme can come back with a different set of rules. The modes guide explains each one.
No. Each cut still scores the lighter half divided by the heavier half, times 100. A perfect split is 100, three cuts make a day, and 300 is the best possible total. A theme only changes which objects you see. Streaks, the leaderboard and badges all work the way they did before.
A random lineup is fun, but it is hard to get better at. With a weekly rhythm you meet the same family of shapes every seven days. After a few Tuesdays you start to feel how far toward the grip a revolver balances. After a few Haturdays you stop trusting the brim. That is the whole game: training your eye on shapes it keeps meeting.
You can see today's theme and make your three cuts in the browser at halfsies.jejestudios.com/play/, or in the app on iPhone and Android.
It depends on the day of the week: Saloon Sunday, Mane Monday, Trigger Tuesday, Wild Wednesday, Threads Thursday, Gold Rush Friday or Haturday. The results screen names the theme and tells you what tomorrow brings.
The first themed day was Haturday, Saturday, November 7, 2026, which is Halfsies #130. Days before that keep their original mixed lineup.
Yes. Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 26 replaces Threads Thursday with a food set that includes the turkey leg. Christmas on Friday, December 25 replaces Gold Rush Friday.
Not always. The theme shapes which objects the day draws from, but a day can include something that does not fit neatly, like the quiver on the first Haturday.
At midnight UTC, the same moment the daily resets for everyone. In winter that is 7 p.m. Eastern or 4 p.m. Pacific the evening before.
